Locating TWAIL Scholarship in China

Abstract This paper opens a scholarly discourse about Chinese scholars’ engagement with TWAIL (Third World Approach to International Law). shows that international law scholars and align in their resistance Eurocentrism law, while they differ attitude towards whether refrain from “national allegories” criticize as state-centric invention. A approach means mainstream lawyers tend adopt pragmatic employing it strategic weapon. During the course of this inquiry, also observes critical strand academics – mostly outside discipline, within disciplines history philosophy is dedicated redeeming China's subjectivity history, which may be useful understand spirit.
